Alton Court, PGL Head Office

PGL's head office is based on the outskirts of the small riverside town of Ross-on-Wye. The location is significant, as the local River Wye saw PGL's founder (Peter Gordon Lawrence) launch his very first canoe trips from here in 1957.

A number of the company's key functions are located at Alton Court, including Sales, Marketing, Accounts, Human Resources, IT, Corporate Affairs, Ski, Operations and the different holiday departments.

The Directors are based at Alton Court and all operate an open door policy. We are very proud of our relaxed working environment and PGL is strictly a first name culture. Only on rare days will you see people in business suits, shirts and ties - smart casual is just fine.

Alton Court acts as the central hub between all of the UK and overseas operations and looks after the logistics of deploying activity equipment, vehicles, uniform and pretty much anything else centres may need.
