ICT

Take ICT beyond the classroom, using the residential education and adventure experience as the inspiration for creative ICT learning. Where possible, ICT course themes are directly linked with adventure activity sessions.

  • Courses have been matched to key elements of the National Curriculum.
  •  Pupils can develop skills such as programming, animating, data logging, data handling and design.
  • Teamwork and communication skills are highlighted.
  • Promoting independent learning - pupils are encouraged to discover the answers to the questions for themselves.
  • The accumulation of knowledge and skills is achieved by an entirely hands-on approach which improves motivation and retention.
  • Each module allows for differentiated outcomes, according to the ability of each pupil.

New - ICT modules can also be combined with Science and/or Field Studies units in our Discover More : Cross-Curricular Course
