The local scenery around Osmington Bay is a mosaic of chalk downland, clay vales, rugged coastal cliffs and sweeping heathland. Below our centre is a private beach where Jurassic fossil-rich rocks and rocky shoreline provide an ideal study location.

For Biologists - a wide range of accessible habitats enable in-depth study of themes & issues such as the effect of farming on biodiversity or freshwater pollution, as well as ecosystems such as marine zonation and sand dune succession.
