Advanced French Language for A-Level (S6/Highers)
An intensive weekend course for students studying at AS/A2, Scottish Highers and similar levels. The course focuses on developing confidence in oral French and offers a range of situations in which to practise listening and speaking skills.
In its most recent report on languages, Ofsted noted that there is still a need to develop a clear framework for the spontaneous use of the target language in the classroom, as speaking remains an area where pupils at all levels continue to struggle.
