Field Studies for KS3 to A-level (S1-S6)

PGL Field Studies courses take place in some of the most outstanding study locations around the UK. From the Isle of Arran to the Jurassic Coast, they are versatile and suitable for study right up to A-Level/Higher Grade requirements. Modules are tailor made to meet the needs of the five major exam boards - WJEC, OCR, Edexcel SQA and AQA.

Our experienced Field Studies staff will liaise with you to tailor-make your course to your curricular requirements.

You can choose to complement your study with a number of activity sessions. Younger groups may like to break up their study in this way, while older groups may opt for more extensive study - the choice is entirely yours.

Specialist Field Studies Course StaffPrior to your field trip you will be in contact with a course director who will customise your field studies course to meet your exact requirements. We provide specialist staff for your Field Studies residential, they are experienced in dealing with school groups in fieldwork locations and take responsibility for the safety of your group during sessions.

Little Canada, Isle of Wight

On the Isle of Wight, minutes from the Fishbourne ferry, Little Canada is located in 48 acres of beautiful woodland on the banks of Wootton Creek. The centre offers distinctive log cabin style accommodation and a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities. ICT and Field Studies courses are available in addition to Multi-Activity courses.

Loch Ranza Field Studies Centre, Isle of Arran

Loch Ranza, on the Isle of Arran is PGL’s specialist Field Studies centre, catering for a wide range of courses including Geography, Geology, Biology and Environmental Science. Ardrossan Harbour is less than 1 hour by rail from Glasgow and the ferry crossing to Brodick takes approximately 55 minutes.

Osmington Bay, Dorset
