The Hotel itself is only a short drive from the centre of Tonale where there are shops and activities. The atmosphere is very friendly and the owners are helpful and eager to please. Across the road from La Roccia is the new gondola which can take groups directly to the ski slopes in Tonale.
La Roccia serves excellent and plentiful home cooked meals. Guests will never go hungry here! Breakfast is continental and self-service, lunch is either packed or you can go back to the hotel for a hot 3 course meal if arranged in advance. The evening meal is served to you in the hotel. Requests for particular meals can be made.
