Accommodation - Chalet Maya

Chalet Maya is located in Argentiere, with a fabulous view of Mont Blanc. Features include a large open-plan living/dining area, separate games room, TV/DVD, X-box and wireless internet access with PC. The chalet sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms, all with luxury en suite bathrooms. Larger groups can be accommodated in one of the sister
chalets of the same standard.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 Depart UK
Fly to Geneva and transfer to your hotel (approx 1½ hours).

Day 2 Mountain Biking & Swimming
Explore the Chamonix Valley on two wheels, followed by a picnic lunch back at the hotel and a visit to the local swimming pool in the afternoon.

Day 3 Full-Day Trek to Lac Blanc at 2350m
This is a 3-4 hour ascent with some fixed ropes followed by a 2½ hour descent back to your hotel.

Day 4 Les Contamines Adventure Park
This outdoor adventure park has plenty to keep you busy. Features include a lake (for swimming and Pedalos), tennis courts, horse riding, walking trails and a variety of challenging ropes courses. In the afternoon your tour leader can organise a walk on part of the famous Tour de Mont Blanc.

Day 5 Cable Car Ride & Rafting or Canyoning
A morning ride in the cable car to the top of the Aiguille du Midi gives you the best views of Mont Blanc and the entire Chamonix Valley. Choose rafting or canyoning in the afternoon.

Day 6 Full-Day Trek to see the Mer de Glace
With approximately three hours of ascent, stopping at a mountain hut to eat a picnic lunch, this all-day trek takes you up through the pine forests to gain a stunning view of the giant Mer de Glace glacier. There are options to extend the walk for the more energetic.

Day 7 Climbing & Treasure Hunt
The natural rock face at Gaillands provides one of the best spots in the area to try your hand at this exciting sport. After lunch practise your map reading skills and head off on a treasure hunt to round off your week in Chamonix.

Day 8 Return Home
Transfer to Geneva for return flight to UK.
